My business doesn't operate in Delaware, but I need to register a trade name here. I don't have a Trade Name Only license from the Division of Revenue.
Before you can register a trade name, you'll need to get a Trade Name Only Business License from the Delaware Division of Revenue.
Once you've obtained this license, you'll be able to register your trade name. Please note:
- This license must be renewed each year to keep your trade name active.
- After completing and paying the license registration, you'll return here to complete your trade name registration on One Stop.
- Trade Name–Only Licenses are not subject to the same stringent requirements as other Division of Revenue licenses such as Gross Receipts or Business Income Tax filings — however, you must provide a Certificate of Good Standing from the Delaware Division of Corporations.
